Aqua Marines was started in 1979 by Dennis
Reynolds with a vision of providing top quality, hand-selected
specimens at a competitive price. 27 years later, the business has
expanded significantly, but still uses its reputable selection,
inspection and packing process to ensure the highest quality
specimens.
-
Our
eleven-member crew starts at all the major wholesalers to select the
best from all incoming shipments into Los Angeles.
-
We
scrutinize each specimen for the smallest imperfection.
-
Every
specimen is hand-selected and carefully packed by our
industry-trained employees so that it receives the proper care. This
includes the required water amount, correct bag size, delicate
handling, mounting of coral and other key elements that directly
effect the health of each specimen.
-
We
maintain two state-of-the art, 5,000 gallon quarantine facilities to
house our rare and unusual specimens.
After
specimens are selected and packed, they are moved to our facility. At
our facility the process continues: specimens are again inspected for
any visible defects, a double-check system is used to make sure our
customer orders are exact and the specimens are packed carefully in
new heavy styrofoam boxes with cardboard liners for shipping. Our
long-term relationships with airline cargo departments helps guarantee
your orders leave and arrive on time.
After
the entire process, Aqua Marines is still able to offer our customers
a competitive price. We receive volume discounts from our suppliers
and rely on our large volume of shipouts for profit. We do not have to
charge exorbitant prices to provide the best quality and variety
available anywhere! |
